Cheryl Ireland is an Ontario born singer/songwriter, guitarist and drummer. She has just released her debut EP “This Wilderness”. Her sound has been described as blues-influenced folk rock, with driving rhythms, resonant harmonies and a powerful, earthy vocal styling. She has an immense passion for performance, playing over 120 shows a year with different projects including her original band, her duo, “The Irelands”, and as a drummer for “The Emerson Ireland Band”. Cheryl loves a wide range of music and counts artists as Gillian Welch, Matt Mays, Susan Tudeschi, Townes Van Zandt, Aretha Franklin, JJ Cale & more as influences.
