Mel is an award-winning local community theatre actress who has performed in numerous productions at Whitby Courthouse Theatre (WCT) including August: Osage County, Communicating Doors, and Things My Mother Taught Me. As a child, she danced competitively, and has always loved to perform on any stage, any time.  She has co-produced The Dixie Swim Club, co-directed Next to Normal and Mambo Italiano, and stage-managed. Mel is currently directing her first production, It’s Only a Play, which will be performed at WCT in November 2019.
